The Brainchild and Driving Force behind our Mission is none other than the Box4Ed itself. Like it's name, it has the capability of providing education to all in the form of just a box. Our current Pilot Boxes have a lot going for them, with more to come. Read up on the details below.
COMPLETE OFFLINE FUNCTIONALITY
Connectivity and accessibility to internet can be varied, which is why the Box4Ed has been designed with offline in mind from the very start. With this, the Box4Ed has all of its features available in offline environments and is even encouraged to be used as such. When plugged into power, the Box will be able to be connected to locally by anyone with a device, whether they have internet, data, or not. While being fully functional out of the box, users can locate a ethernet port to connect to internet if they wish to do so.
LEARNING
MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM
The Box comes equipped with its own Learning Management System (LMS) tailor made for remote usage. Offering a ease of use and easy on the eyes interface, students will be able to be registered to access the features of the box through the LMS. A connection between those students and teachers can also be had with the ability to leave comments for one another that can be seen when connected.
PRELOADED
CONTENT &
RESOURCES
The Box comes already pre-loaded with education resources and syllabus materials and content. Users can then go through the LMS to access these for themselves whether that is by instruction by their teachers or their own self discovery. The journey doesn't end there though, as all content and materials will be able to downloaded straight from the box onto one's device, again all without internet. This makes it so one can almost take the Box4Ed home with them.

ADAPTABLE
Administrators and Teachers of the Box will have many tools at their disposal when it comes to making it meet their exact needs. Teachers can make Assessments and Activities for their students, which upon upload will be immediately available to complete to those connected. Furthermore, marking and feedback capabilities can be set up for those as well. Teachers can also feel free to create and load their own content and materials into the box to share with others.
